Our latest boot tailgate sill overlay is the perfect modification for adding a sporty look and feel to your vehicle. This sill is made from vinyl and has a carbon fibre effect colour finish and is complete with a white Insignia logo.

The sills add a pleasing aesthetic to the vehicle but also have a practical use as they protect any minor scratches and/or wear that the vehicle may endure on a day to day basis.

Installation:

For transportation reasons, you may find the vinyl Is rolled up and when unboxed there may be some creases due to this. Please do not worry, the material is very flexible and the creases can be removed easily once heat is applied via a heat gun/hair dryer. Upon unboxing, please un-roll the adhesive strip and use heat to pull out any creases. Please make sure you are gentle as too much pressure may rip the tape.

Please ensure the surface is clean and dry before installation for best results. Find the position required, stretch out the strip equally and remove the backing paper from the adhesive tape and press down firmly to ensure the adhesive has stuck well. During the process, if you have any air bubbles or crease lines, a soft edged squeegee/wrap tool can help pull them out along with heat. Once again, take care not to rip the tape with too much pressure.

Please do not wash the vehicle for at least 48 hours after installation to give the adhesive good time to set. When cleaning after this period, the sills can be cleaned as usual however please try to avoid using a jet wash on the sill overlay directly.
