Our wireless puddle lights are one of our most popular products and are super easy to install by anyone. The welcome lights display a logo on the floor when you open your car door, modernising and enhancing the lighting aesthetics.

How do wireless welcome puddle lights work?

When you order a set of our wireless welcome lights, you will receive the following items;

  • Light Units
  • Adhesive Pads
  • Infrared Stickers

Our wireless puddle lights require 3x AAA batteries per unit (not included). The light units feature a button which allows you to control the light manually and a sensor that works with the infrared sticker to control the light automatically. The light units need to be stuck in the bottom corner of your internal door card using the supplied adhesive pads. Please ensure the surface is clean and dry before installation. The infrared sticker needs to be positioned on the plastic trim, just above the door sill, so that when the door closes, the projector unit passes over the sticker so that the sensor can detect it and turn the light on or off automatically.

When the installation has been completed correctly, the light should illuminate automatically when the door opens and turn off automatically when the door closes. Please note; the light units also have a daylight sensor built into them so they are only designed to work correctly at night time or in the dark.

At JK Auto Styling, we also offer a range of wired puddle lights. These are designed to replace your existing puddle lights and project a logo onto the floor instead of a plain light. These directly replace the original puddle lights and will not show any error codes on your dash.
