Ford ST Chrome LED Door Sill Protector Strips Scuff Plates Ford Fiesta Focus ST.

Our latest LED door sill protective plates are the perfect modification for adding a sporty look and feel to your vehicle. This set includes 2 pieces, one for the front driver side and one for the front passenger side. These sills have a lovely chrome finish and have a very slim profile for a sleek look. The sills are also complete with an illuminating ST logo and detail arrows in a cool white colour output.

The plates use efficient LED lighting to illuminate and can act as a welcome light when you open the car (when wired for this). The lights also feature an eye-catching sweeping movement display when they first light up. The LEDs swipe from the outside inwards towards the ST logo before fully illuminating to finish.

The sills add a pleasing aesthetic to the vehicle but also have a practical use as they protect any minor scratches and/or wear that the vehicle may endure on a day to day basis.

Installation:

Step 1. Please ensure all surfaces are clean and dry for best results.

Step 2. Locate your wiring within the door sill and connect up to existing wires - for example, puddle light, welcome light. If you would like the lights to illuminate when you open the car and feature like a welcome light, please join up to any lighting that turns on when the vehicle is unlocked.

Step 3. Using a heat gun, warm up the adhesive tape and the installation area to give the tape the best connection.

Step 4. Once you have found the correct installation area, remove the backing of the adhesive tape and press down firmly to ensure all of the tape has made good connection with the surface area.

Step 5. Remove the protective films (if applicable) from the plate strips.

Please do not wash the vehicle for at least 48 hours after installation to give the adhesive good time to set. When cleaning after this period, the sills can be cleaned as usual however please try to avoid using a jet wash on the sill overlay directly.

Please ensure all wiring is covered up correctly and protected from any potential source of water or damage.

We recommend installation by a qualified professional with experience and the know-how to complete the installation.
